1. How much does membership cost?

YMCA fees vary depending on the program that interests you.  Once you choose the YMCA Health, Fitness and Recreation Centre that meets your needs, contact us with any questions you have about applicable fees.

2. Can the YMCA help me find a job?

Absolutely! The YMCA offers a range of employment programs that help adults learn about the career & employment opportunities available to them.  We can provide you with training in important job-related skills, advise you about starting your own business, and help you search for available jobs.  Learn more about how we can help you find a job.

As a charity that serves all segments of our community, the YMCA of Cape Breton provides financial assistance for all our programs. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, members, community partners, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff, no one is denied access to a YMCA program simply because they cannot pay the full fee.If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please let the YMCA know when you call to ask about our programs or at the time of registration.  Together, we can provide all our members with opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and leadership.
